Born and raised in Southern California, Art Hodges is a proven leader, from College Class President, to School Principal, to College Chancellor, to Pastor of 40 years, to Bishop overseeing hundreds of churches, pastors and ministers in southern California. He has extensive leadership experience having served as CEO and on numerous Boards of Directors ~ for Children’s Orphanage, Urshan University, The Salt & Light Council, Revive California, and more.  

In 2020-21 Bishop Art Hodges SUCCESSFULLY led the effort against Governor Gavin Newsom’s tyrannical response to COVID, winning two decisive US Supreme Court rulings to reopen Houses of Worship - never to be shut down again - Ever! 

He has interviewed on ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, NBC, NEWSMAX, OAN, PBS, Martha McCallum, Tucker Carlson, Fox & Friends, and numerous other news outlets.  He speaks at numerous conferences and conventions around the world. 

His is a Voice of Reason sorely needed in California’s capital to counter the chaos currently repressing the Golden State. 

As a longtime political independent, he authored “66 Contrasts of the Democrat & Republican Party Platforms” in 2016, revised in 2020, revised again in 2024. This is published in a nonpartisan booklet available at BiblicalVoter.com

As a registered Republican, his mission priorities are Faith, Family, Freedom & Future. 

With Rosa, his wife of 48yrs, they have three married children with college degrees for medical, legal, and financial careers, with six grand-children (ages one month to 17yrs old), all residents of Chula Vista, CA (San Diego County).
